		<description>Yes, I scanned it from an original.  You&#039;d be lucky to find a library that would let you take it home to scan it, though; the whole thing is worth about $5,000.  The copy I had sort of slipped through the cracks of the library&#039;s system and so was available for lending.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;There might be a slightly bigger scan available from here: http://caliban.mpiz-koeln.mpg.de/~stueber/haeckel/kunstformen/liste.html&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Otherwise, you could buy the $20 Prestel version of Kunstformen der Natur and scan from that.  It&#039;s a pretty good commercial reproduction.</description>
